In response to the significant increase in traffic volumes within the port area, traffic arrangements are being upgraded to enhance both traffic flow and safety. Construction of the new roundabout at the intersection of Satamatie and Järveläntie is currently in progress. Schedule and Impact on Traffic The new roundabout will be opened to traffic and commissioned in early June. Following its commissioning, the intersection area will be fully operational, immediately facilitating smoother traffic flows within the port. Finalisation works on the roundabout and its surrounding areas, together with the installation of new signage, will continue throughout summer 2026. As construction activities will still be ongoing and temporary traffic arrangements may be subject to change, all road users are requested to exercise heightened caution, maintain an appropriate driving speed, and comply with temporary traffic guidance.
