The Army will be training local defence in the port of Naantali this week

The Finnish Army will be training local defence across Finland 2-9 September 2022. The exercises will improve local troops’ readiness to carry out local combat and protection tasks and strengthen the authorities’ abilities to cooperate in situations of disruption everywhere in the country.

There will be some military vehicles in the port area.  The Finnish Army is practising the access control in the port area in Naantali. Every person wishing to access the port shall provide identification at request by Army  and give the reason for visiting the port. Entrance to the port area without a valid reason is forbidden.
