On Naantalinsalmi straits a seaside resort was in operation from 1918 to 1940s. There was a pavilion, restaurant, sandy beach and a water slide along which people slid to the sea with a wooden sled.<\/p>\n

\u201dThe Tupavuori seaside resort is located a couple of kilometres away from the town along a lovely walking path that follows the seashore. Surrounded by conifers and sheltered from wind, the sunny seaside resort is a cosy place for those looking for sea and sun baths, as well as other bather and summer guests, because there is a fine first-class restaurant where you can also enjoy high-quality orchestra music every day.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
