Instructions for emergency situations <\/strong><\/h4>\r\n
Calling help and reporting an accident<\/strong><\/h5>\r\n

Emergency number: 112<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Port Control: +358 44 733 0093<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

or VHF channel: 11<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Instructions in case of fire<\/strong><\/h5>\r\n
    \r\n
  1. Rescue anyone in immediate danger if possible<\/li>\r\n
  2. Report the fire by calling 112 or by pressing a fire alarm button and inform Port Control<\/li>\r\n
  3. Extinguish and limit the fire as much as possible<\/li>\r\n
  4. Guide rescue units to the location and make sure that they can spot you (for example by waving your hands)<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n
    Instructions in case of a leaking transport unit or container<\/strong><\/h5>\r\n
      \r\n
    1. If the leak is in a transport unit and it cannot be stopped, the unit\u2019s operator should move it to the IMDG area.<\/li>\r\n
    2. If the leak is in a trailer and it cannot be stopped, the terminal tractor\u2019s operator should move it to the IMDG area.<\/li>\r\n
    3. If the leak is in a container and it cannot be stopped, the container should be moved to the IMDG area by using forklifts, front-loaders or stevedore\u2019s equipment.<\/li>\r\n
    4. If the leak is in a container, the leak can also be stopped or reduced by turning it to a different position.<\/li>\r\n
    5. Port Control will block the sewage system, if need be, with blocking equipment.<\/li>\r\n
    6. The leaking substance can be collected in the port\u2019s portable tanks.<\/li>\r\n
    7. The Port Control personnel can use absorbent material to absorb the leaked substance.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

      Please note: A leaking unit, trailer or container can only be moved if this does not cause further damage.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

      In case of an accident<\/strong><\/h5>\r\n
        \r\n
      1. Start first aid<\/li>\r\n
      2. Call for help<\/li>\r\n
      3. Guide the ambulance to the scene<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n
